Our section of the Public Works Department cares for Escondido’s parks, median and parkway landscaping, and open spaces. We maintain the turf, irrigation, and planter beds at various City facilities including City Hall and the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. Vegetation control is also an important part of a citywide beautification effort.

Trees make all the difference in our parks and open spaces. To read more about Escondido's Urban Forest of over 65,000 trees, click here.

You can do your part in keeping our parks and open spaces beautiful! If you see anything of concern, it’s easy to let us know. You can email us at pubworks@escondido.org, call us at (760) 839-4668, or use your smartphone and send us a photo with Report It!
